1-1 Nursery Support –Bumpkins Day Nursery, Royston SG8
We are currently seeking a qualified 1:1 Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis.
The ideal person will…
- Hold a full and relevant early years and education qualification equivalent to Level 3 or above
- Undertake all SEN paperwork relating to the child, and liaise with external agencies
- Have a sound knowledge of EYFS
- You must have previous experience with working in a SEND role.
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Hold a level of pride in themselves and their work
- Be able to work from their own initiative
- Be reliable and friendly
Key Responsibilities:
- You will take responsibility for the provision of care and appropriate learning opportunities for the child you are supporting.
- Supervise the chid and protect them from dangerous or harmful situations
- Liaise with the parent/carers providing them with a daily activity record.
- To ensure that the needs of the child in your care are met.
