We are hiring an Accountant Assistant
This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the charity, contributing to the broader mission.

Position: VAC0118 Accountant Assistant (Payables)
Location: London (hybrid working considered after probation period)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £28,416.42 pa plus travel to work allowance up to £3800 pa
Contract: Permanent
Benefits: Contributory pension scheme; generous travel to work allowance; 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays per annum, café discount.

About the Role
This role will involve processing accounting transactions into the accounting software in a timely and accurate manner.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
• AAT Level 2 or above, or currently studying for an accountancy degree, or pursuing ACCA/CIMA qualifications.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Solid knowledge of purchase ledger processes and supplier reconciliations.
• Familiarity with accounting software (NetSuite experience is desirable).
• Proven experience in data entry, invoice processing, and strong attention to detail.
• Experience reconciling supplier accounts and handling related queries.
