It is a beautiful mansion, set within three acres of grounds, with 32 bedrooms, six separate living/ function rooms, an entertainment stage with a bar area, a conservatory, a library, a restaurant, television rooms, and even a hair salon; and easily accessed via public transport, buses and trains. They are also able to offer free parking!

Role

They now seek a dedicated and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join their management team and contribute to the smooth running of their care home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient administrative support to the management team.
  • Provide administrative assistance in the charity's grant applications, mental health support applications and residential applications.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes when required.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage filing systems.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation.
  • Liaise with staff, residents, and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Support the management team with ad-hoc administrative tasks.

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, ideally in a care or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
