Solar Administrator
Our client is seeking a highly organised and efficient Solar Administrator to join their team based in Cirencester. Key Responsibilities:
This varied role will provide support to the Agricultural Solar Sales team for the day-to-day administration within a growing company.
Duties of the role include but are not limited to:
- Assist and support the Agricultural Solar Sales team with administrative tasks.
- Handle customer, supplier and third-party enquiries via telephone and email in a timely manner, always providing exceptional service.
- Assist with pricing model, cross reference against customer proposal.
- Prepare and process internal and external documentation including correspondence, reports and emails.
- Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports for review.
- Support various projects and tasks as assigned by the management team.
- Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Manage the permit and interconnection application process for solar PV systems for agricultural projects.
- Liaise with local government agencies and utility companies to ensure all necessary permits and interconnections agreements are in place.
- Track project schedules, providing updates and ensuring projects are proceeding according to plan.
- Provide administrative support for project teams, including scheduling, budget tracking, and other ad-hoc tasks.
- Coordinate with engineers, installers, and clients as needed to keep projects on track.
- Regularly update management and Sales team on project status, milestones, and potential issues.
Experience and personal attributes:
Prospective candidates should have relevant experience and familiarity with administrative systems and procedures, and be able to provide evidence of:
- Minimum of 2 years administrative experience or in a similar role (essential).
- Excellent literacy skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Efficient communication skills with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders, third parties and colleagues at all levels.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Be process driven with the ability to identify and implement streamlining to enhance operational efficiency.
- First-rate organisational skills with the ability to multitask a varied workload with robust time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to learn new skills and a can-do attitude.

Benefits:
A competitive salary of £25,500.00 - £28,000.00 per annum depending on experience, and 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays and a day off on your birthday. There is free parking on site.
This a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday between 8:30am to 5:00pm, based at our client in Cirencester.
