Black Fox Solutions are recruiting for a reputable Accountancy practice based in Carrickfergus who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the team. The company are offering flexible hours, working from home and to cover all costs of ACCA training. If you are an Assistant Accountant who is looking to join an organisation where you can learn and develop, this could be the role for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and    partnerships


• Assist in corporation tax computations and assist manager with personal tax returns


• Prepare VAT returns for manager, including reviewing client records for accuracy


• Assist with management accounts and bookkeeping using Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms


• Perform bank reconciliations


• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous Practice experience is desired but not essential
