Assistant Property Accountant

Our client, a fast-growing property investment company in North London (Zone 2) is seeking to recruit a part-qualified accountant to join their outgoing and vibrant team. Reporting to the Finance Director this role would suit someone who wants to progress as the FD will be reducing their hours in the coming years and the business is keen for the successful candidate to take on some of the FD’s responsibilities.

As the successful candidate you will initially be responsible for:

• Raising or inputting of purchase and sales invoices


• Bank reconciliations


• Assisting the Finance director with ad-hoc tasks


• Preparing payments schedule


• Intercompany reconciliations


• CIS returns and VAT returns


• HMRC returns and companies house

You will not need to have experience of all of the above but you will:

• Ideally be studying for an accounting qualification


• Be computer literate with excellent Excel skills


• Have a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
