Our client is one of the largest multinational accountancy firms in the UK. With a deep focus on mid-market businesses as well as large, listed clients the firm offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of assignments in a collaborative and partner-led environment. They are recruiting for an Audit Assistant Manager specialising in the public sector in their state-of-the-art office in Leeds!



Audit Assistant Manager responsibilities include:




  • Auditing clients under IFRS

  • Managing a large portfolio of audit clients

  • Liaising with clients and managing complex technical matters

  • Coaching junior members of the team



As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will:




  • Be ACA or ACCA Qualified

  • Have over 18 months’ post-qualified experience of leading audits from planning to completion

  • Be experienced in managing a small portfolio of clients

  • Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff

  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of, or passion for the public sector
