The Job

We are seeking a dedicated Bagging Plant Operator to join our client's dynamic team based in South Tyneside. In this crucial role, you will:

• Operate bagging machines and associated equipment to pack petroleum coke briquettes


• Ensure safe and efficient operations while maintaining high-quality standards


• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of bagging machines


• Assist in off-loading raw materials and maintain good housekeeping standards


• Liaise with drivers and visitors to ensure site rules are observed

The Person

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Excellent time management abilities and deadline-oriented mindset


• Ability to multi-task and maintain a positive "can-do" attitude


• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus


• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills


• Physical fitness to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
