Electrical Control Design Engineer

Full time – Monday to Friday

With over 500 staff in the UK and a reputation that is unrivalled our client are looking for a Electrical Control Design Engineer to join their team.

JOB PURPOSE

This role focuses on designing and developing bespoke control systems that meet customer requirements while adhering to industry standards. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with creativity to deliver solutions that enhance our reputation for excellence.

JOB SPECIFICATION

• Create detailed electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams for control panels.
• Specify and source components such as PLCs, relays, HMIs, and sensors to optimize system performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and integrate control systems with broader industrial processes, ensuring seamless functionality.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in electrical design, control systems, or a similar engineering role within manufacturing or industrial automation.

• Proficient in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical (Preferred), EPLAN, or similar).

• Degree, equivalent or HNC qualification in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.

SALARY/BENEFITS
