Role: Business Administrator

Hours of work: 20 - 24 hours per week - Monday to Friday.

About Us:

We provide Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) designs for urban & rural roads, in addition to dual carriageway & motorways anywhere in the UK using the latest industry software.

As well as specialising in TTM design, we also provide Vehicle Swept Path Analysis, Consultancy, RRRAP Assessments, BIM/ 3D design and traffic modelling.

About the role of Business Administrator:

Due to growth and a growing order book, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Administrator to join our team!  You will be responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to various departments within the business. 

You will be joining and working alongside (in beautiful offices) a successful team of talented designers and engineers. 

Responsibilities of a Business Administrator:

  • Handling and processing of sensitive information
  • Organising and scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and minute taking
  • Preparing business documents
  • Collating and reporting on health and safety specific data/ activities.
  • Supporting Quality and Environmental activities
  • Collating information from internal audits
  • Processing employee inductions
  • Inputting and maintaining data
  • Coordinating training for company employees
  • Updating supplier information
  • Assisting in financial and accounting activities where applicable
  • Assisting in business development and company projects.
  • Any other administrative tasks that may arise

Essential Attributes for a Business Administrator:

  • Excellent communication skills and a team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Sharepoint and Teams.
  • Able to multitask and work to tight deadlines
  • Willing to learn new skills and develop

Desirable Attributes for a Business Administrator:

  • Previous experience within the TM industry/ Construction
  • Experience using NetSuite - Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Payroll experience
