Business Development Manager – Digital Signage
Role Overview:
We are working on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) specializing in digital signage. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this dynamic role will combine sales expertise, technical knowledge, and project management skills to drive sales, manage client relationships, and oversee the implementation of digital screen solutions across a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify, target, and establish relationships with prospective clients.
- Present and demonstrate digital signage solutions, tailoring proposals to client needs.
- Convert leads into long-term clients by understanding their business challenges and delivering relevant solutions.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain strong connections with new and existing clients, providing ongoing support for digital signage needs.
Project Management:
- Manage the end-to-end process of digital signage projects, from initial consultation to installation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Create and oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Address challenges promptly to ensure projects remain on track and meet client expectations.
Technical Expertise:
- Stay informed on the latest digital signage technologies, trends, and innovations, including customer experience, analytics, and biometrics.
- Provide clients with technical guidance during sales and implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to installations.
Client Support and Training:
- Deliver exceptional post-sales support and training, ensuring clients fully benefit from their solutions.
- Gather and act on client feedback to enhance products and services.
Reporting and Insights:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project milestones.
- Prepare regular updates and reports for senior management.
- Act as the "eyes and ears" of the business, reporting competitor insights, market intelligence, and opportunities for product development.
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Proven B2B sales experience, particularly in digital signage or related solutions.
- Strong understanding of content strategy, creation, and scheduling.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
