Fantastic opportunity for a Site Agent or Project Manager to move into an office based role, providing technical expertise to the work winning function
Company
Established main contractor providing civil and structural engineering construction expertise to various sectors. This organisation is well reputed, offers excellent work life balance, career development, and a strong portfolio of localised work.
Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced site agent or project manager to move away from the people management and health and safety headaches of a daily site based role. The position entails bringing technical expertise and construction know-how to the front end of the process; work winning.
By contributing to the strategy for project delivery and creation of tender programmes, this is a key role in the essential preconstruction function of the business. The incumbent will work closely with the Bid Manager.
This is a hybrid role with a mix of office and home based working, flexibility of hours, and a 40 hour working week.
Experience Required
Applicants must demonstrate a proven background within a technical role, managing civil and civil structural engineering projects on site, with a commercial appreciation of the position and agenda of a main contractor organisation.
Previous experience of interacting with P6 or Microsoft Project software (likely through amendment/updating of site programmes) is required,. Training to further develop these skills will be provided.
Remuneration
Circa £55,000 to £65,000 dependent on experience. The position includes a competitive car allowance, private health and pension schemes, generous holidays and other financial benefits.
This is a permanent position and Corepeople Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.
