CNC Turner Setter / Operator - Night Team

Permanent, 39 hours a week, Monday to Thursday Night shift 21:45 to 08:00

Davall Gears is a long established UK manufacturer and supplier for the design and production of gearing systems and specialist gearboxes. 

We're looking to hire a CNC Turner / Setter / Operator in our night shift team

Key Responsibilities:

• Set / Operate Mazak CNC Lathes.
• Cutting varying grades of mainly stainless and nitriding steels.
• Produce first-off components for inspection.
• Inspect components during production to ensure drawing / spec requirements are maintained.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience with setting and operating Mazak CNC lathes.
• Mazatrol and Fanuc control experience
• Be conversant with Mazak Matrix & Smooth Controls.
• Be able to read and interpret engineers’ drawings and tolerances.
• Be able to use a wide range of different measuring devices and inspection techniques.
