Job Title: Managing Quantity Surveyor

Location: Cambridge

Package: £90,000 - £98,000 plus car allowance, bonus and flexible working

Skilled Careers are working with a Tier One Main Contractor who are on the lookout for a Managing Quantity Surveyor due to excellent growth across the Cambridge area.

As the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be looking after multiple projects in the Healthcare and Education sector where multiple commercial people will be reporting into yourself.

Responsibilities

• Managing applications for payment from sub-contractors 


• Preparation of applications for payment to clients.


• Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure in the form of CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation Reports) 


• Preparation of final accounts 


• Managing team workloads 


• Work closely with senior stakeholders and the project management team to ensure the successful delivery of the scheme.

Requirements

• Healthcare and Education experience needed.


• Has experience managing projects and a team.


• Strong contractual knowledge in JCT and NEC.


• Experience in high valued projects.
