Rate/Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 Plus Benefits to include Hybrid working

The below job description will outline this position of: Credit Controller 

We are looking for a Credit Controller for one of our clients.

Typically, this person will be carrying out credit control activities predominantly over the phone, talking to customers with an aim of building solid working relationships. This position is hybrid working which kicks in after the initial probation period has ended meaning you would have 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

Duties and responsibilities of the Credit controller

•    Build relationships with end clients / vendors, and external financial & legal institutions through phone and email conversations 

•    Maintain and update a list of all outstanding debtors, and ensuring all in-house systems are current, and key information is logged

•    Negotiate payment plans, and arrange collections

•    A confident communicator, self-motivated and organised

•    Ideally, you will come from a finance, credit control or payroll background

•    Good level of empathy when dealing with clients / customers

•    Strong IT skills, and experience with in-house finance systems

Qualifications and requirement for the Credit Controller:

•    Full working rights in the UK

•    Driving licence is essential
