In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety and well-being of residents in social housing by conducting thorough property surveys to assess and resolve disrepair issues.

What you'll be doing:

• Investigating Disrepair Claims: You'll be at the forefront of resolving property issues, diligently investigating claims received from tenants and legal representatives.


• Conducting Comprehensive Surveys: You'll meticulously conduct surveys of properties, gathering detailed evidence and producing accurate reports to support repair decisions.


• Collaborating with a Supportive Team: You'll work closely with a small, friendly team of professionals, sharing expertise and collaborating on solutions.


• Balancing Fieldwork and Administration: Enjoy a varied role with a mix of exciting fieldwork and essential administrative tasks.

What we're looking for:

• RICS Accreditation: Essential for this role.


• Driving Enthusiast: You'll need a full UK driving license and be comfortable travelling within Central Bedfordshire (up to 45-60 minutes from Luton).


• Customer-Focused: You'll possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with tenants and colleagues.


• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and precision are paramount in this role.


• DBS Check: Essential for entering tenant properties.


• Newly Qualified Welcome: We encourage applications from both experienced and newly qualified surveyors.
