Domestic Abuse Navigator
We are seeking a Domestic Abuse Navigator to support and empower deaf individuals affected by domestic abuse. This is a vital role providing access to information, advice, and resources in British Sign Language (BSL) to ensure safety and wellbeing.
Position: Domestic Abuse Navigator
Salary: £18,375.73 (£30,904.64 FTE)
Location: Flexible/work from home with occasional travel (Kent)
Hours: Part-time, 22 hours per week - The working days will be flexible to suit the new post holder (with a set working pattern agreed). There will be some occasional weekend working required in this role
Contract: Fixed term until 31 March 2026

About the Role
As a Domestic Abuse Navigator, you will work closely with the deaf community, providing essential information, guidance, and advocacy for individuals experiencing domestic abuse or sexual violence. You will raise awareness, develop educational resources, and deliver workshops both online and in person. Additionally, you will collaborate with professionals to enhance their understanding of barriers faced by deaf individuals and improve service accessibility.
