Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are recruiting for a maintenance electrician to join a strong team based in Derry/Londonderry. This is a full-time, permanent position with Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm working hours and a highly competitive remuneration package based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems and machinery.


• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues to minimise production downtime.


• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.


• Install, maintain, and test electrical components, wiring, and control devices.


• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain operational efficiency.


• Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies.


• Plan and prioritise workloads in line with production and engineering management.


• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and maintain accurate documentation.

About You

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician in an industrial/production environment.


• Relevant qualifications in electrical maintenance.


• Experience with pneumatic and/or hydraulic machinery repairs.


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.


• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
