Civil Engineering             

Our client, a specialist Building and Civil Engineering contractors working across Northern Ireland and Scotland are looking to add an Estimator to their growing team.

Day to Day:

• Conduct detailed research on materials, labour, and equipment costs, identifying opportunities for value engineering.


• Prepare subcontractor/supplier packages, analyse quotations for competitiveness and compliance, and finalise tenders within deadlines.


• Assist in planning job timescales, developing programs, and evaluating project risks.


• Attend meetings and site visits to understand project requirements.


• Use estimating systems to price tenders and present completed bids clearly to management.

Requirements:

• Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.


• 4 years post-graduate experience in a similar / main contracting role.


• Experience in civil works (roads, site works, railways and concrete works).


• Full UK driving licence.
