Horton Housing
Horton Housing is a not-for-profit Housing Association that manages a wide range of different housing, training and support services across Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees and North Yorkshire. We offer support to a variety of people, including those who are homeless or at risk, young people and refugees. We offer accommodation, skills and language support, and use a strength based approach to help the people we support achieve their goals in a manner which works for them.
We are currently recruiting for a Housing Officer to join Horton Housing Association. This is a new role, which forms part of the expansion of our homelessness contract. The role is 35 hours per week, full time.
The role
You will assist tenants in signing up for their tenancy and support them in the practical and emotional aspects of managing and maintaining their accommodation.
You will have the ability to carry out domestic duties, health and safety checks and minor repairs to ensure tenants have a clean and safe living environment.
