Internal Sales Account Manager

The Opportunity



This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercial and customer-focused sales professional ideally working both new business and account management.



You will be working independently and alongside the team of field-based Technology Consultants, you will possess fantastic communication skills, relationship-building experience, and a drive to work in an engaging manner with both customer accounts and prospects.



Youll be confident managing the sales process with the ability and drive to close deals, customer service, customer experience and making the right choices to support your customers is key.



This is an office-based position near Leeds Bradford Airport, as a component of a national sales team.



Key Roles and Responsibilities:



Account Management



Working on the teams account base you will keep regular communications to ensure our client remains their technology supplier of choice, whilst delivering the best customer experience.



Business Development



Maximising sales from warm enquiries and working customers through the customer engagement sales process, whilst also building and passing on leads to the most appropriate person.



New customer acquisition



Our client is a well-connected company with an excellent reputation in the sector, so part of your time will be spent leveraging this to seek out and grow new customers. Use your skills to understand the customer, build trust, explain who we are and how we can help them



Internal Relationships



A working partnership element of the role is maintaining a close relationship with your field sales team to aid with sales, account management and new business opportunities



Written Communications



You will be required to accurately update systems including the CRM whilst being confident in sending professionally written communications to customers and colleagues.



Based in Leeds - near the airport - salary will be £30k-£35k p.a. doe plus commission and benefits (first year should be £45k OTE)



Your skills and experience



You will be a team player with excellent communication skills.

You will have drive and ambition to work for this technology led company who are a key player in the Audio Visual and Technical marketplace.

Full training will be given on their products but you must be a confident salesperson who thrives in a competitive environment.
