IT Field Sales Consultant needed to join an EPOS solutions business to develop new client relationships in Derby.

A chance to work with an established brand with a 4+ decade track record of supplying EPOS solutions into the Retail and Hospitality sectors.

An ideal opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in the IT industry who enjoys dealing with a variety of people on a face-to-face basis.

Key experience + duties will include:

• Selling EPOS solutions face-to-face to a variety of Retail businesses across Derby and the surrounding area.


• Engaging directly with key decision-makers at Retail businesses including: hospitality, convenience stores, petrol forecourts, supermarkets + pharmacies.


• Identifying / scoping out customer needs and selling bespoke EPOS systems to meet those needs.


• Working to agreed sales targets and KPIs for new business development.


• Any experience of IT or Technology sales would be advantageous -eg- computer Software/Hardware.


• Soft Skills: positive energy, determined, organised, communication, persistence, negotiation, customer focused, goal orientated.


• A full UK Driving Licence + your own vehicle is essential.


• An IT related degree (or similar IT qualification) preferred but not essential.
