Junior Print Production Operator
We're excited to announce a job opening for a Junior Production Operative at our large format display printing branch at Mace! As part of the team, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our print production service, ensuring everything runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis. A key aspect of this role will be operating our cutting-edge large-format print and cutting machines. Don't worry if you don't have any experience, as we will provide you with comprehensive training to get you up to speed. You'll also be responsible for the hand finishing and packing of all orders, ensuring they're ready to be delivered to our clients on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using various software packages to prepare files ready for printing
- Loading and unloading the print machines with various materials, some of which can be heavy, so proper manual handling skills are important
- Printing and cutting jobs using our flatbed printers and digital CAD cutting tables
- Mounting, laminating, and finishing of printed materials
- Perform operator maintenance on print and finishing equipment
- Help maintain a high level of safety, cleanliness and organisation around the workplace
- Comply with company H&S, Environmental & Quality procedures
- Adhoc duties as directed by the client
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience is desired but is not essential
- Excellent IT & communication skills
- An understanding of customer care and client relationship
- Great attitude and interest in developing skills
- The ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight production deadlines
