Marine Engineer

Position: Marine Engineer / Marine Mechanical Engineer / Marine Technician

We are looking for a Marine Engineer / Marine Mechanical Engineer to join a privately owned boatyard based on the South Coast , you will be working on vessels, yachts, and leisure craft. You must be able to travel to Falmouth for this role

Duties and responsibilities of the Marine Engineer / Marine Mechanical Engineer :

• Comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of engineering and/or maintenance systems in pertinent marine conditions        


• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical repair systems      


• Servicing marine engines and equipment marine engines, spare parts, propellers, stern gear, and other engineering products.    


• Skilled and current marine mechanical engineering  knowledge of leisure and commercial craft engines and systems up to 1000hp      

Qualifications and requirement for the Marine Engineer / Marine Mechanical Engineer:

• Familiarity with the principles and regulations governing health and safety in a comparable organisation    


• Good communication skills both in writing and speaking      


• Hold  a full UK driver license        


• Must be able to commute to Falmouth
