Mechanical Design Engineer

A leading manufacturer of specialist equipment for the concrete, construction, and environmental sectors is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic and innovative design team. With a strong international presence across more than 30 countries, the company serves diverse customers, from global construction firms to independent producers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the detailed mechanical design of advanced mixing systems, supporting the company’s ongoing R&D efforts and continuous product improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed mechanical drawings and 3D CAD models for industrial mixing plants.


• Generate and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and parts lists.


• Participate in research and development initiatives for new and existing products.


• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on structural steel components.


• Maintain accurate and current manuals and technical documentation.

Essential Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (BEng or equivalent) in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.


• Minimum of 4 years' experience in a mechanical design role.


• Proficient in 3D CAD software (experience with Creo preferred).

Desired Attributes:

• Experience working in a heavy engineering environment.


• Familiarity with the concrete production or quarrying industries.
