Mechanical Fitter/Engineer

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Fitter for a leading wastewater treatment facility in Dublin. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic mechanical team at one of Europe’s largest municipal wastewater treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations on plant equipment.


• Supervise contractors and ensure maintenance tasks meet site standards.


• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment failures to minimise downtime.


• Record and manage maintenance activities using CMMS (MAXIMO).


• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment performance.

Requirements:

• Maintenance Fitter Craft Certificate or equivalent.


• Strong technical skills with attention to detail.


• Proven ability to work independently and within a team.


• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.


• Experience in wastewater treatment is an advantage.
