We are recruiting for a leading company in the recycling and heavy plant industry, dedicated to innovative solutions. We're looking for an experienced New Product Development Engineer to join our team and contribute to product design and development.
You will design and develop new products, from concept to final production, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective solutions. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new products and modifications to meet customer needs.
- Create CAD models, technical drawings, and documentation (SolidWorks).
- Conduct feasibility studies and testing to ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support NPD projects, maintaining timelines and budgets.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Degree/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in product design and development.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office.
- Experience taking products from concept to prototype.
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in recycling or heavy plant industries.
- Familiarity with PDM software.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
