Black Fox Solutions are working with a successful and growing Accountancy practice based in Carrickfergus who are looking for a Newly or Part Qualified Accountant. The role is offering a competitive salary as well as the opportunity for flexible hours and a working from home option.

Working within a supportive team you will be working with a range of clients, with duties including;

• Review and submit annual financial statements and accounts in compliance with statutory obligations and deadlines to HMRC.


• Manage and coordinate monthly reporting.


• Ensure accurate and timely submission of CT and VAT returns to HMRC and Companies House.


• Liaise with HMRC on behalf of the company to handle any tax-related inquiries or issues.


• Develop and maintain internal control and effective accounting system and policies.


• Conduct continuous analysis of financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.


• Provide strategic advice to management on tax planning and implications of business decisions

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified membership in a professional body like ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent. If not qualified, 3 years experience working in an Accountancy Practice.


• Knowledge of the UK taxation system, especially regarding CT and VAT regulations.


• Experience with accounting software such as Sage and Xero
