An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager with 2-3 years of managerial experience to join a prominent distributor and supplier of plastic products. This role offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee daily health and safety practices while maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.

You will be responsible for:

Plan, supervise, and coordinate daily activities to foster a motivated and high-performing team.
Manage stock levels, including control and rotation of inventory.
Oversee the operation and maintenance of the company fleet, including lorries, forklifts, and cars.
Provide clear briefings and debriefings to drivers regarding deliveries and collections.
Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations.
Efficiently manage fuel consumption and operational costs, optimising drivers’ hours through effective problem-solving.

What we are looking for:

Previously worked as an Operations Manager, Operations Lead, Commercial Manager, General Manager or in a similar role.
Possess 2-3 years of managerial experience.
NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent).
A valid UK Driving Licence.
