Production Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production / Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations. You will ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations are met, while managing a team to drive continuous improvement.

• Oversee production operations and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.


• Develop production schedules and optimise efficiency.


• Lead and develop a team, fostering a safe and high-performance environment.


• Ensure quality standards are met and address any issues with the Quality Assurance team.


• Manage inventory, equipment, and resources to minimise waste and optimise costs.


• Implement lean manufacturing techniques and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (preferred).


• Minimum 5 years’ experience in production/operations management, ideally in switchgear or electrical manufacturing.


• Proficient in production planning, inventory management, and process optimisation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERP systems and lean manufacturing.


• Knowledge of electrical safety standards.


• Lean Six Sigma certification (desirable).
