THE ROLE

As a Production Operative (FLT Plant Operator Biased), your responsibilities will include:

• Operating counterbalance FLT (up to 5 tonnes), with training available for bucket loader and telehandler if required

• Loading vehicles and managing yard stock, moving products efficiently from production to storage areas

• Performing daily mobile plant inspections, safety checks, and preventative maintenance

• Maintaining clean and hazard-free working areas

• Developing product knowledge, storage practices, and workplace transport safety

• Adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies

THE EXPERIENCE

• Vocational counterbalance FLT licence (up to 5 tonnes) is essential, with experience in mobile plant operation (bucket loader and telehandler preferred)

• Experience in yard stock management and vehicle loading

• A proven ability to work independently and within a small team to achieve production targets

• Strong timekeeping, reliability, and adaptability to seasonal demands
