As the business continues to grow, we are now looking to recruit a highly experienced and dynamic Project Director to oversee a range of exciting projects with values of up to £25m.



 



 



Role Overview:



As a Project Director, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of multiple CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all operational aspects from pre-construction and tender stages through to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a senior leadership role, where you will work closely with key stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, to manage project performance, drive efficiency, and ensure a seamless fit-out experience.



 



 



Key Responsibilities:



 



Project Leadership: Lead and manage a portfolio of CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects, each with a value of up to £25m.



 



Pre-Construction & Tendering: Oversee the pre-construction phase, managing the tendering process and ensuring the selection of the most suitable contractors, suppliers, and consultants.



 



Project Delivery: Ensure successful project delivery, from initial design through to final handover, maintaining strict quality control and compliance with all regulatory standards.



 



Budget & Schedule Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring efficient cost control and adherence to agreed schedules.



 



Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, project teams, subcontractors, and consultants.



 



Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle, fostering a safety-first culture.



 



Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing project team, fostering collaboration and ensuring continuous improvement.



 



 



Key Requirements:



 



Proven experience as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager within the commercial fit-out sector, specifically for CAT A and CAT B office projects.



 



Extensive experience managing large-scale fit-out projects with values of up to £25m.



 



In-depth understanding of pre-construction, tendering, and project delivery processes.



 



Strong financial acumen with a track record of successfully managing project budgets and schedules.



 



Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.



 



Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and quality control standards.



 



A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.



 



Chartership (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB) is desirable but not essential.
