My client, a housing development who work in partnerships with local authorities are keen to appoint a new Project Manager for a busy multiphase HA scheme in Upwood. The scheme will consist of all HA and affordable living houses and apartments, all traditional build.
The ideal candidate will have worked in the residential sector ideally working on both HA and private sale projects. This could be an excellent opportunity for someone stepping up from a SSM role.
Duties:
- Project Manager, whilst reporting into a visiting Contract Manager
- Responsible for a full site team across all phases
- Pre-construction work for projects
- Material call offs
- Ensure all sub-contractors are working inline with build programme and all works are signed off
- Inductions and toolbox talks
- RAMS
- Responsible for all non-conforming sub-contractors
- Providing clear direction to the production team
- Sire progress reports
- Monitoring quality control
- Liaising with clients
- Providing accurate reports for site progress
- Address any issues on site whilst having the autonomy to make decisions
- Monitoring and controlling the quality of production stage completions to payments to subcontractors
- Ensuring customers service always remains of the highest priority with everyone on site
Qualifications:
- Experience of running either a large busy site or multiple phases
- Experience of managing and mentoring a full production team from TASM to SSM’s
- HA/Affordable housing experience
- SMSTS
- CSCS
- First Aid
