Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager 

Location: Tunbridge Wells

Start Date: ASAP 

Day Rate: £320- £375 per day 

Company: A Regional Contractor who has a growing presence in the local region and a wide portfolio of work which includes, care homes, residential, education and healthcare. 

Project: A new multi million pound care home which will include demolition, groundworks, piling and a new build 155 bed care facility. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage project from inception to completion.


• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.


• Oversee site operations, subcontractors, and supply chain management.


• Maintain programme schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.


• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.


• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and high-quality delivery.

Requirements: 

• Proven experience in Main Contracting project management.


• CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).


• SMSTS qualification (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).


• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control.


• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.


• NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management would be advantageous 


• Proven experience in managing a team of Site Managers, Design Teams and Operatives
