About Us:

Chevron Traffic Management is at the forefront of delivering innovative traffic management solutions across the UK. Our Urban Solutions Division is expanding, and we are setting up a new depot network in 2025 to enhance our services in urban environments. We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Project Manager to help drive this division forward, ensuring its success as a key part of Chevron’s growth strategy.

About the Role of Project Manager:

As Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the establishment and success of our new Urban Solutions depots. Based in Scunthorpe, you will be responsible for supporting, training, and developing teams across multiple sites, whilst ensuring the smooth implementation of operational processes.

This is a fast-paced and hands-on role that requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills. You will need to be adaptable, proactive, and highly motivated to drive the success of this division. The role involves regular travel and occasional overnight stays to support the wider team and ensure the smooth rollout of new depots.

Key Responsibilities of a Project Manager:

  • Support the setup of new depots, ensuring smooth integration into the Urban Solutions Division.
  • Train and develop new staff, providing hands-on guidance and support.
  • Act as a key liaison between teams, ensuring effective communication at all levels.
  • Drive operational excellence, identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to shape and implement strategic plans for depot success.
  • Ensure that IT systems and processes are effectively adopted across new sites.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Travel and stay away on occasions to support new depot locations and teams.

Key Skills & Experience for a Project Manager:

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for building and growing new operations
  • Proven experience in Project Management, ideally within Traffic Management, Logistics, or Construction.
  • Strong leadership and training capabilities to support new teams
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong IT skills, with the ability to adapt to new systems and technology.
  • Full UK driving licence (essential) and willingness to travel/ stay overnight when required
