Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Surrey

Package: £50,000 - £55,000 plus car allowance

Skilled Careers are working with an award winning Main Contractor who are on the lookout for Quantity Surveyor to work on a £50m Care Home in the Surrey whilst spending one day in the office in Central London.

As the Quantity Surveyor, you would be working for a company that is renowned for progressing its staff from within and known for looking after its own.

Duties

• Compliance with and assistance in helping promote the Health and Safety policy.


• Provide support to the Project Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor and Managing Quantity Surveyor.


• Assistance with the procurement of Sub-Contractors; Consultants and Suppliers.


• Contribution to the analysis of Sub-Contractors; Consultants and Suppliers tender returns.


• Subject to the prior approval of the Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor and in accordance with company contractual arrangements, authorise payments in respect of interim and final applications for payment from Sub-Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers.

Requirements

• Must have worked for a Main Contractor.


• Ideally experience working on New Build Projects.


• Ambitious individual.


• Degree qualified.
