Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Intermediate to Senior Level)

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction company, specialising in high-value fit-out projects ranging from £10-40 million+. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project costs, contracts, and financial reporting.
This role involves regular travel to project sites, typically 1-2 days per week in locations including Edinburgh and London.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Manage project budgets and monitor financial performance.
- Conduct cost planning, procurement, and tender management.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts and subcontracts.
- Provide accurate valuations and financial reports.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.
- Identify and manage risks effectively.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the fit-out sector.
- Experience managing projects valued at £10 million+.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management.
- Ability to travel to project sites as required (typically 1-2 days per week).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
