About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Reactive Supervisor to join our thriving Social Housing team in Hammersmith. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality reactive maintenance services to our residents across a diverse portfolio of properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of multi-skilled operatives, ensuring they are effectively deployed and motivated to deliver excellent customer service.
- Respond promptly to resident requests for repairs and maintenance, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
- Prioritise work orders, schedule appointments, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct regular inspections of properties and identify any potential maintenance issues.
- Liaise with residents, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.
- Investigate and resolve resident complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance services.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a reactive maintenance environment, ideally within Social Housing.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of building maintenance practices and relevant building regulations.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- IT literate with experience of using property management software.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Relevant trade qualifications (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
- Experience of using computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation.
