Sales Engineer

Our client is looking for a proven Technical Field sales professional operating at a senior level who has success and experience in a technical sales role opportunity. You will play a crucial part in the sales process, acting as a bridge between a customer or prospect's technical resources and sales.

  • You must be a proven Technical sales professional with a background in creating business growth.
  • The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies to maximise revenue and market share.
  • You will ensure strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of the company offering.

KEY TASKS

  • Follow-up leads in a timely manner
  • Close orders within the required timeframe
  • Develop strong relationships at Key Accounts and meet or exceed the annual sales targets
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and market research
  • Collaborate with all departments to ensure the seamless execution of projects
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals to potential clients
  • Attend and carry out site surveys

SALES

  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of sales strategy
  • Timely and accurate completion of work to achieve individual and team targets
  • Maintain existing customer base and develop repeat customers
  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 5 years preferred Technical Sales/Semiconductor industry

PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment 
  • Previous field sales experience for technical services and/or products requiring technical advice

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Additional and/or unsociable hours may be necessary when required
  • Frequent travel away from home (UK & abroad) as required
  • Work from home as appropriate to the demands of the role
