About Us:

We are working with a happy and caring community school where everyone is valued and supported to be the best they can be. The school is looking for a proactive and energetic SEND Teaching Assistant with experience of supporting ASD, ADHD, Language and Global Delay. The successful individual will also need EYFS experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher where required.


• Support pupils within groups and on a 1:1 basis


• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.


• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.


• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.


• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent


• Experience: Previous experience working in a Primary School


• Knowledge: Understanding of SEN and EYFS


• Desirable: Relevant SEN training
