Key Responsibilities:
- Lead platform engineering for Java-based backend, driving innovation and scalability.
- Expand and maintain infrastructure-as-code, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Contribute to frontend development and architecture decisions, shaping the overall technical direction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams – developers, designers, and stakeholders – to ensure timely and successful project outcomes.
- Own the full lifecycle of feature development, from design to deployment and beyond.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies, bringing fresh ideas and trends into our processes.
- Embrace DevOps principles, engaging in daily operational needs and ensuring smooth system performance for end users.
What We’re Looking For:
- British citizenship or indefinite rights, ILR to work in the UK are required.
- Proven experience in leading development projects, guiding timelines, deliverables, and cross-team collaboration.
- 5+ years of Java experience, particularly with Spring Boot (preferably version 5+).
- Proficiency with AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform preferred).
- Solid knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Strong analytical, programming, and problem-solving skills.
