My client, a leading UK construction business are looking for an experienced, driven Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor to oversee M&E commercial responsibilities of a large £110m new build commercial office building in North West London. M&E package values £25m. The project has 12 months left of the contract and would lead to further works.

Role & Responsibilities
- Manage pre and post contract aspects of M&E services surveying on multiple smaller projects or a single large project.
- Provide financial and commercial M&E support across various projects, including design and procurement strategies, risk mitigation, cost reports, valuations, and client negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with business requirements and best practice procedures.
- Maintain professional relationships with clients, consultants, and supply chain partners, and work closely with the construction team.
- Procure and commercially manage M&E subcontract packages, including tender enquiries, negotiations, subcontract documentation, and final accounts.
Requirements
- Qualifications: Minimum HNC/HND level, ideally degree level or working towards MRICS or equivalent.
- Experience and Competencies: Depth of M&E Surveying experience required for the role.
- Personal Traits: Positive, proactive, collaborative, and shares the Business's values and ethos.
- Skills: Good negotiator, keen eye for detail, confident team participant.
- Professional Conduct: Good communication skills and professional demeanour at all times.
