Site Engineer

Location: Monaghan Town

A growing and successful construction company is seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join its team on an exciting new residential project in Monaghan Town.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Reading, interpreting, and effectively communicating construction drawings on site for layouts, material measurements, and other requirements.


• Ensuring precise setting out, including accurate lines, levels, and reference points on site.


• Driving progress on-site and ensuring that project deadlines are met.


• Building strong relationships and collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and team members.


• Adhering to Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.


• Implementing best practices and sharing industry knowledge with team members.


• Maintaining and following the Integrated Management System (IMS), policies, and procedures.


• Performing other duties as required to support project success.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in Construction Engineering and Management or equivalent.


• A minimum of 3 years’ post-graduate experience in a similar role.


• Experience in residential construction (advantageous).


• Proficiency in using survey equipment such as Levels and Total Stations.


• Competency in AutoCAD and general IT skills, including MS Office applications like Word and Excel.


• A valid driver’s license and all relevant site certifications.
