Job Title: Site Manager

A leading construction firm is seeking a Site Manager to oversee the construction of new-build nursing homes:
- Project is a two-story building constructed using traditional or timber-frame methods to turnkey finish, including site works and landscaping.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage direct labour and subcontractors to ensure project timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.
- Oversee setting out and dimensional control for accurate construction, including calibration and maintenance of instruments.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and recording of workmanship and materials such as drainage, concrete, and brickwork.
- Address technical queries and provide engineering support to resolve issues on-site.
- Proactively manage health and safety and coordinate temporary works as needed.
- Attend client, stakeholder, and internal meetings, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to monitor project performance and ensure timely payments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience supervising engineering teams and subcontractors on construction sites.
- Strong understanding of contract specifications and quality standards.
- Excellent time management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Degree or site management qualifications, valid CSR card, and First Aid certificate.
- Full manual driving license.
