Role Overview:
As a Site Supervisor, you will play a vital role in managing and coordinating operations. You’ll lead direct labour teams and sub-contractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards while delivering quality work that meets client KPIs and budget targets. This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organise daily job orders for the operations team, including diaries, material requirements, and workflows.
- Enforce Health & Safety standards, conduct site audits, report incidents, and deliver toolbox talks.
- Act as the central point of contact for Senior Managers and administrative staff regarding service delivery.
- Liaise with planners to allocate work effectively and ensure job instructions are clearly communicated to sub-contractors and direct labour teams.
- Manage sub-contractor relationships, ensuring performance and quality standards are consistently met.
- Monitor job progress, track targets, and ensure timely completion of all works.
- Investigate and resolve job rejections, providing clear explanations and updates.
- Analyse work instructions to ensure accurate coding for correct job valuations.
- Prepare and present updates at daily meetings, ensuring accurate and up-to-date reporting.
- Conduct Pre & Post Inspection Surveys, confirming measurements and applications of specifications.
- Work closely with client Maintenance Officers to address queries or modifications to works.
- Ensure accurate updates in relevant systems (e.g., PDA and Orchard) to support administrative and QS processes.
- Provide training, support, and guidance to new and existing team members, including sub-contractors.
- Perform duties in line with company policies and procedures.
- Take on additional responsibilities as required to ensure smooth and successful delivery of all projects.
