Job summary
Our client is looking for a Supervision Senior Manager to join the Independent Football Regulator (IFR) in its shadow form to help advise and shape the organisation in parallel with Parliamentary passage of the associated legal framework.
Job description
The supervision function will sit at the heart of the Independent Football Regulator, undertaking core regulatory activity such as conducting financial analysis of the clubs, processing applications for licences as well as monitoring ongoing compliance with licence conditions and rules. It will also be a focal point for managing the IFR’s relationship with the clubs it regulates.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing the supervision function within the new organisation, building capability and the operational processes and controls necessary to ensure effective oversight of clubs within the scope of the new regulatory framework. They will need to ensure close working with data, policy, legal and enforcement teams so that regulatory oversight is effective and coherent and that the IFR’s board is supported to take robust regulatory decisions.
