About the Role: As a Support Worker in Liskeard, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of the individuals we support. Our clients enjoy a range of activities, from spending time with loved ones to outings at local farms and enjoying leisurely moments at home. Your role will involve empowering our clients to engage in these activities while providing essential support for their daily living needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage and facilitate clients' participation in various activities, fostering social engagement and personal enjoyment.
- Provide assistance with daily living tasks, including personal care, medication administration, wheelchair assistance, meal preparation, and feeding.
Requirements:
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards supporting individuals with diverse needs.
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with clients, colleagues, and families.
- Willingness to assist with personal care tasks and medication administration.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
