About the Role
“Ben” is looking for passionate, enthusiastic Support Workers to join his team in Hemel Hempstead. If you want a role that is fun, dynamic, and makes a real impact, this is for you!
Ben is an active and creative gentleman who enjoys a range of hobbies, from running (he is a fan of 5k races and half marathons) to volunteering at a local café and spending time at the horse stables on Saturday mornings. He is also highly creative, loving woodwork and crafting items to sell at fairs. Ben is keen for his support team to get involved with his projects and learn along the way!
Whether it is supporting Ben with his daily routines or joining him in the community, you will be part of a team that enables him to live independently and do the things he loves.
What Will I Be Doing?
- Encourage and empower Ben to live his best life by being active, engaged, and involved in his daily routine.
- Support him with shopping for his clothes and food, and support meal preparation.
- Assist him with housework, including cleaning and laundry.
- Support Ben in managing his money and interacting with external parties like family members and other professionals.
Shifts
Shifts will be 9am-5pm, 5pm-10pm, plus sleep-ins and 9am-10pm shifts. You will be required to work alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
