Currently, we are recruiting for a Support Worker in East Finchley, London. You will support 2 ladies and 2 gentlemen aged between 47 - 59. They communicate in their own unique way. They all have amazing smiles, especially when they dance to music. They are all unique and need different levels of support. We are looking for someone who is creative and can think outside of the box, who like being active and who has a keen interest in positive behaviour support learning and developing from behavioural consultant input and coaching. . You will be part of a bigger team so it is important for you to be a team player. As a support worker you need to be caring, patient, punctual, compassionate, creative and empathic.

Whether you have experience or not, we will help support you to reach your full potential by providing you with all the necessary training, guidance and support you need to complete your care certificate and further qualifications.

The role will involve:

  • Daily walks for newspapers and balloons.
  • Support with meal preparation
  • Lunches at the nearest pub
  • Dance and Karaoke on Sunday evenings
  • Support with visits to day centres
  • Helping people learn the skills they need to live the life they choose
  • Support with education needs
  • Personal care
  • Support with shopping, housework including cleaning and laundry
  • Supporting with medication
  • Using computers to register daily logs and trainings
  • Helping manage residents’ emotions, worries and anxieties on a daily basis

Shift Patterns:

Early shifts: 07:00 - 14:30

Late shifts: 14:30 – 22:00

Weekend and occasional bank holiday shifts expected as part of your permanent role.

Full time - 37.5 hrs a week

Part Time - 22.5 hrs a week
