Technical Assistant Manager/Manager responsibilities include:

• Providing high quality technical advice on the application of international and UK accounting standards


• Providing advice on the application of auditing standards and assisting in developing and reviewing audit methodology and recommending improvements


• Developing and delivering practical training courses on auditing and financial reporting matters


• Presenting at technical update courses and ad hoc training


• Assisting in performing cold file reviews of audit files

As a Technical Assistant Manager/Manager, you will:

• Strong technical skills in both UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS


• Either already working in a technical role or currently working in audit with an interest in technical and training matters


• Experience working with AIM listed companies and / or Public Interest Entities (PIEs)


• Comfortable presenting to groups of people


• Some experience in data analytics/ audit software would be an advantage
